In August of 1985 I went to visit my dad in Alaska. This trip my grandpa drove up from Arizona to stay with us for a little while. One of the things we did was go fishing in Kenai River. It was fun fishing with my grandpa. I don’t remember if we caught anything though.
Kenai River is the longest river in the Kenai Peninsula of south central Alaska. It runs 82 miles westward from Kenai Lake in the Kenai Mountains. It goes through the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge. The Kenai River is a melt water river that drains the central Kenai Peninsula region. Its source is the Kenai Lake.
