On 1/14/2023 – I meet up with a group of other National Park Travelers. I am in a online club that plans meet-ups at different parks around the country. Robbie (one of the members) planed this meet-up to happen at Saguaro National Park.
Me and my group meet at the East Visitor Center. We went into the Visitor Center and got our stamps and some stickers.
On this meet-up we did a caravan tour of the park. We go in our cars and stop at some of the overlooks in the park. We learned some interesting things. The ranger talked about all the cactus that is in the park and some of the mountains you can see. The places we stopped were Cactus Forest Overlook, Desert Ecology Nature Trail, Rincon Mountains Overlook, and Javelina Picnic Area.
Here is the group picture. It was a great group. It was a lot of fun.
Saguaro is one of my all time favorite parks–thanks for sharing your photos!
