On our last day of being in Missouri we drove to a little town called Saint Charles. In the town there is a museum called the Lewis & Clark Boat House and Museum. This place shows a great display of all the things that Lewis and Clark did on the trail.
In this town Lewis & Clark camped here in May 16-20, 1804 while Lewis completed business in St. Louis.
This trail goes through 16 states in America: Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota, North Dakota, Montana, Idaho, Washington, and Oregon.
Here is a picture of a boat that they use during shows that they do. It’s a remodel of what the boats looked like going on the expedition.
