Ste. Genevieve National Historical Park cam part of the parks in 2020 to preserve the history of the oldest European settlement in Missouri. Ste. Genevieve is located in the Mid-Mississippi River Valley that was established by 1750.
There are three places that you can tour at the park. They only showed us the two buildings, Jean Baptiste Valle and Green Tree Tavern.
The Jean Baptiste Valle was a home to the resident as commandant to oversee the administration of colonized areas were brothers Francois II and Jean Baptiste Valle
The Green Tree Tavern used to be a house and a tavern and inn.
