This church is a National Historic Landmark. Sixteenth Street Baptist Church is located in Birmingham, Alabama.
This church was used for meetings, training center and departure points for marches during the Civil Rights Movement.
Also in 9/1963 there was a bombing there that killed four young girls and injure twenty- two others. The Ku Klux Klan was responsible for the bombing.
