Here is one of motels along Route 66 in Albuquerque, NM. 6214 Central Avenue Southwest.
It use to be called La Hacienda Camp. Dates back to 1947, boom days for traveling after WWII. It had 21 rooms and sunken garden. It dropped “La” from its name and is now the Hacienda Motel but sign is almost the same and the buildings to with a u-shape layout around a central courtyard. Hacienda is spanish for a large estate like ar ranch or plantation.
