In July of 1985, I went up to Alaska to visit my dad. This summer we went to Kenai Fjords National Park that is located in Seward, AK. We went on a boat ride to the see the glaciers and saw a lot of wild sea animals. It was summer up there but it was still cold on the board. You still wear a heavy jacket, gloves and a hat. You can go on a charter boat to take you around the national park. It is a 8 hour tour and takes you around 100 miles. They did sell snacks on the boat. I think I had some soup.
Kenai Fjords is one of the most beautiful scenic and unique natural parks. It boasts towering peaks and glaciers which run through narrow mountains to the sea. It is populated by bears, goats, seals, whales, sea lions, sea otters, puffins and many other varieties of sea birds.
